Introduction
Packaged in a duct-mount configuration, this humidistat can be
mounted on either the return air duct or an interior wall of the
home.
DANGER:
• Disconnect electrical power to the furnace before starting
installation.
• Do not cut or drill any air conditioning or electrical
accessories during installation.
— Electrocution is possible if you come in contact with a live
electrical wire.
— Blindness can occur if refrigerant contacts your eyes.
CAUTION:
•
Do not install the humidistat on any electrical system over 30
VAC.
•
Be certain that all electrical wiring complies with local codes and
ordinances.
•
Do not set humidity higher than recommended. Condensation
damage to the home may result.
•
Do not set humidity up to recommended levels if there is conden-
sation on the inside windows of any living space. Condensation
damage to the home may result.
