1 Introduction
The Sandberg Fingerprint Hard Disk Box
(referred to as "the box") is a unique way to
ensure that only you have access to your
personal data and sensitive information. It is
easy to fit a 2.5" SATA hard disk in the box, and
the box connects to your computer via a USB
cable. Using the software provided, you can
decide how much of the hard disk is to be
protected with fingerprint verification
(partitioned). Should any unauthorised users
get hold of the box, they will be unable to access
your data held on this part of the hard disk. The
box is also compact and handy to keep with
you. Another feature is that with just a push of
a button on the box you can backup selected
folders and files.
2 Installing a hard disk
1. Remove the end of the box where the USB
cable is located.
2. Pull out the end with the USB cable. See Figure 1.

3. Connect a 2.5" SATA hard disk to the sockets
on the small circuit board from the end of the
box you removed. Position the hard disk so
that its width matches that of the circuit board.

4. Screw the hard disk securely to the base of
the circuit board. See Figure 3.
