Maintain adequate tractor stability to prevent lateral instability and
possible tip-over which could result in serious bodily injury or even
death. Widen the wheel tread and add wheel weights where necessary.
Refer to the mounting instructions or call Customer Service if you need
assistance with Counterweight Procedure.
7.7 Shutting Down the KSB6
To shut down implement, first bring the tractor to a
complete stop. Decrease engine RPM to idle then
disengage implement. The implement will come to
a complete stop within a suitable amount of time.
Do not engage or disengage the implement at a
high RPM unless there is an emergency situation.
Park the tractor on a level surface, place the
transmission in park or neutral and apply the
parking brake, shut down the engine, remove the
key, and wait for all motion to come to a complete
stop before exiting the tractor.
BEFORE leaving the tractor seat lower the implement, set the parking
brake and/or set the tractor transmission in parking gear, disengage the
PTO, stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to
stop. Place the tractor shift lever into a low range or parking gear to
prevent the tractor from rolling. Never dismount a Tractor that is moving
or while the engine is running. Operate the Tractor controls from the
tractor seat only.
