• Never operate a charger that has been damaged in any
way.
• Do not disassemble the charger.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger
from the AC power outlet before trying any
maintenance or cleaning.
• Never alter the AC power plug. An improper connection
can result in an electric shock.
• Never put the charger against a carpet when charging.
The charger produces heat, and must be well
ventilated.
• Never use the charger as a DC power source for
electrical equipment.
Using the charger
To recharge batteries:
1 Insert the batteries into the charger according to the
polarity (+ and - symbols) shown on the diagram
inside the charger.
2 Plug the charger into an AC power outlet. The charger
begins to recharge the batteries, and the red LED
indicator turns on.
When the batteries are fully charged, the LED indicator
turns off.
Caution: Do not mix NiMH and NiCd batteries in the
charger.
