FiTTiNg THE saFETY ValVE group
- Fit the safety valve group (3) to the main valve group
(1), using the seal (2) provided. Tighten the union
securely to ensure water-tightness.
posiTioNiNg THE ValVE group
- Position the valve group (1) on the storage cylinder or
wall and fix it in place with the screws (A, not sup-
plied). Use screws of a suitable type and size. If you
are fixing the valve group to a wall, also use wall plugs
of a suitable type.
- Connect the safety valve drain to a pipe (T) to avoid
burns from expelled fluid and to permit the heat tran-
sfer fluid to be recovered.
- It is MANDATORY to connect the safety valve to an
expansion vessel (E) designed for use in solar water
heating systems.
