Unit reception
The unit is supplied in labelled cardboard packaging
with all the unit's characteristics (type, model, SO
number,...) for easy identification. Each unit is
marked with an identification number to be given in all
correspondence.
When receiving the packages, the inspection of the
condition of goods at arrival is the recipient's entire
responsibility :
• For shortages, the customer must mention the exact
number of packages received.
• In the event of defects on the units, the customer
must describe the damage observed on the receipt
in presence of the delivery person, and only sign the
receipt after having done this.
ENGLISH
IMPORTANT : These remarks, in compliance with
the article 105 of the French trade code, must be
confi rmed by registered letter to the transport operator
within 3 working days. The terms «reservations» and
«subject to unpacking» are not valid. The customer
must unpack the goods in the presence of the delivery
person. Specifi c reservations at delivery are required.
Caution : The unit must be handled with care and
preferably kept lying in its packaging. Shocks may alter
its overall structure and damage its primary functions
and appearance. To reinforce its structure, two screws
are placed at the rear of the unit (fig.4). These screws
are only used for the transport of the unit and should be
discarded after casing dismounting.
Casing disassembly / reassembly
The casing must be dismounted before installing
the unit. Remove the two transport screws (fig.4) to
disassemble the unit and discard them. Unfasten the
two captive attachment screws located at the base of
each side (fig.5), without removing them (fig.10).
For reassembly purpose, insert the casing in the
guide formed by the bottom of the unit, hold it in place
and refasten the two attachment screws (fi g.8 and 10).
Take off the fi lter stand grille before handling.
• CV1D vertical model
The unit must be attached at the base of the wall.
Position your attachment holes using the lines (fig.3)
and position your pins to level the unit. Position your
Major2 using the four buttonholes at the rear of the unit
(fig.3, pos.21).
It is recommended to use washers for the attachment
of the unit to avoid buttonholes damaging.
The Major2 may be attached by its bottom with its
threaded M6 inserts (fig.3, pos.24).
• CH41D horizontal model
The unit
must be attached using screw rods (not
supplied) inserted in the buttonholes. Ensure that the
unit is perfectly level.
The unit must be installed with air return against a wall
and never in the centre of the room.
In case of wall thermostat control, do not expose it
to the sun, behind a door, nor above an apparatus
generating heat, but rather on an interior wall at 150
cm height.
The hydraulic connections of the coils are located on
the left, facing air discharge.
The coils are equipped with female threaded double
hydraulic connections (fig.11a).
