device first before repeating steps #4 to #5 above to make a new link.
If you need to switch between different paired devices that are all in range and with
Bluetooth functions enabled, the Bluetooth function of the current connected device must be
turned off first to release the SO-8000 system for an alternative Bluetooth connection.
Refer to manual of your smartphone or external Bluetooth enabled device for correct
Bluetooth operation instructions since it may vary from model to model.
If your Bluetooth enabled device does not support A2DP, it will not play the music through
the SO-8000 system even after it is paired and connected successfully.
If you are pairing and connecting your personal computer to the SO-8000 using Bluetooth,
you may need to set the SO-8000 as your computer's default sound device.
RE-LINKING TO A SMARTPHONE OR BLUETOOTH ENABLED DEVICE
Even if your smartphone or Bluetooth device is already paired with the SO-8000 and with both
Bluetooth functions turned on, they can become unlinked at some point due to intended manual
disconnection or undesirable external signal interferences or over-range for more than 20
seconds. If this happens, the Amplifier will emit a low level alert beep tone. You can re-link them
and resume play by:
1. Select the SO-8000 from the device list on your smartphone or Bluetooth device. The
SO-8000 Amplifier should re-link to your Bluetooth enabled device within 5 seconds.
2. Tap the play button of the music player on your Bluetooth enabled device to resume
playback.
This Amplifier is equipped with 2 sets of auxiliary audio signal RCA input jacks (AUX IN 1 and
AUX IN 2) for connecting 2 different external audio devices such as stereo turntable, tuner, CD
player, portable digital audio player, iPod and other audio sources with a standard 3.5mm stereo
headphone output jack so you can listen to your external source through the Speakers of this
system.
1.
If your external audio device is equipped with standard RCA line output jacks, you should
use the included RCA audio cables to make the connection between them. Be sure the L
(white-coded plug) & R (red-coded plug) terminals on both ends are correctly connected.
2.
If your external device only has a 3.5 mm stereo line-out/headphone jack, you will need to
use a proper RCA-to-3.5mm cord (not included) to connect it to one of the auxiliary input
terminals (AUX IN 1 or AUX IN 2). Plug the RCA ends into the AUX IN jacks on the rear
panel of the Amplifier and the 3.5mm stereo plug of the cable into the stereo line-out jack or
headphone jack of your external audio device.
3.
Turn on the external audio device.
4.
Rotate the SOURCE SELECTOR of the Amplifier to the chosen AUX IN 1 or AUX IN 2
position.
5.
Rotate the VOLUME CONTROL on the Amplifier to increase the listening volume gradually
until the desirable level is reached. Operate all other functions on the auxiliary device as
usual.
Notes:
If the line-out Jack of your external device is connected, then you only need to adjust the
volume control of this Amplifier. If the headphone jack of your external device is connected,
then you may need to adjust both the volume control of your external device and the volume
control of this Amplifier to find the most desirable volume setting.
Set the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH to the "O" position to switch Off the Amplifier when you
finish listening. Do not forget to switch off the power on your external device as well.
