The digital module ED5I4O 16A is designed to be used in a diverse
EN
range of applications. From the simple management of lighting
system to control each electrical load. The configuration of the device
is extremely simple because it allows to exploit preset functions typical
of a traditional electrical system. The device has been designed to give
maximum flexibility in the use, ideal for controlling groups of lamps, elec-
tric motors and appliances. The inputs are optically isolated and can be
used to connect the buttons near the electrical contacts or technological
alarms. The output relays provide an exchange contact with common
independent, and can control resistive electrical loads (cos = 1) up to
16A. The normally open contact output can be connected weakly fluores-
cent lamps with capacitive load (it is still recommended to use external
contactors in the presence of power factor correction capacitors).
