OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Speed adjustment (air-flow regulator)
The air-flow regulator controls how much air
enters the motor which defines the motor speed/
power. To adjust the amount of air flowing to
the motor, move the air-flow regulator tab.
When fully opened, the air-flow regulator tab
will be almost parallel with the air inlet.
Start sanding in an inconspicuous spot--or on a test piece--to ensure proper grit,
speed and pressure is applied to your work surface to yield desired results.
Begin sanding with an abrasive grit coarse enough to remove high spots and
excessive roughness
Follow with a second sandpaper using a grit one to two ranges finer.
Continue working successively until desired finish is obtained.
MAINTENANCE
STORAGE
Lubricate your sander before storing. Follow the air motor lubrication
instructions with an exception to step #5. Only run the sander for 2-3 seconds
(instead of 20 to 30 seconds) because more oil needs to remain in the sander
when storing. Store your tool in a cool dry place.
