While reading, you can long-press on a word in
order to bring up the Contextual reading menu,
which will give you the following options:
Create note: lets you add a new note to the book
you're reading. Press "Add note" to bring up the
virtual keyboard, where you can enter your note.
Once you've added a note or highlighted text,
you can go back and edit it, delete it or look up its
definition (if it's just a single word) by tapping it.
