WARNING!

Why does my vacuum cleaner have no power or cut out during use?
•
It may not be plugged into the electrical socket correctly. Ensure that the plug is pushed into the electrical
socket securely.
•
The motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out. This thermostat may have tripped. Should this occur:
1.
Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical socket and turn the unit off.
2. Remove and empty the dirt container.
3.
Check the hose for blockages. Clean the filters.
4. Allow the unit to cool for approximately 1 hour (if you have cleaned the filters you will need to wait 24
hours for the filters to dry before putting them back into the unit).
Why won't the vacuum cleaner pick up?
•
The slider on the hose handle is open. Close the slider.
•
The brush/nozzle you are using does not suit the flooring.
Select a brush/nozzle that is more appropriate for the type of floor you wish to clean.
•
The floor nozzle's selector switch position is unsuitable for the floor you wish to clean.
Set the selector switch to the correct position for the type of flooring.
•
The dirt container may be full or blocked, refer to the chapter 'Emptying the dirt container'.
•
The filters may need cleaning, refer to chapter 'Cleaning the Filters'.
•
There may be a blockage in the hose or tube. Check hose and tube for blockages and remove them.
Why is dust escaping from the vacuum?
•
The slider on the hose handle is open. Close the slider.
•
The dirt container may be incorrectly installed, ensure the dirt container is locked in place.
•
The filters may be incorrectly installed, refer to chapter 'Cleaning the Filters'.
•
There may be a blockage in the hose, check the hose and remove the blockage.
