Operating Instruction
Figure 1:
Remove the foam padding from the two earpads. Open the battery compartment and
insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the polarity (+ and -).
Figure 2:
Put the foam padding back on the earpads. Please observe the installation direction (there
are two hooks and two slotted flaps). Do not use force.
Figure 3:
Insert the plug of the AC/DC power supply adapter into the socket marked DC IN at the
rear of the unit and then connect the adapter to a wall socket with 230 V and 50 Hz.
Figure 4:
Connect the jack cable to the CHG Out socket of the transmitter and the headphone
socket and set the power button of the headphones to "OFF".
Figure 5:
Switch the transmitter on by setting the POWER button to "ON". Allow the headphones
to charge for 16 hours. After the first time you charge them, subsequent charges will only
take about 12 hours.
Figure 6:
Take the socket cable and connect a 3.5 mm jack sockets to the headphone connection
of a playback device (amplifier, TV, etc.).
Figure 7:
Set up the IR transmitter, directing the IR window at the approximate centre of the area
in which you will be listening to the headphones. Given that IR rays are transmitted in a
straight line, you should set up the IR transmitter at the same height or slightly higher than
the height at which the IR headphones are to receive the signal.
Figure 8:
Switch on the playback device and set the volume to about one quarter of
the maximum level.
Figure 9:
Switch on the headphones and make sure the function indicator light is on. Set to a
medium volume.
Figure 10:
Reduce the volume of the headphones before putting them on, then readjust it.
