CUTTING TIPS (FIG 12)
keep the trimmer tilted toward the area being cut; this is
the best cutting area.
The trimmer cuts when passing the unit from left to right.
This will avoid throwing debris at the operator.
Avoid cutting in the dangerous area shown in FIG 12.
Use the tip of the line to do the cutting; do not force string
head into uncut grass.
Wire and picket fences cause extra line wear, even
breakage. Stone and brick walls, curbs, and wood may
wear line rapidly.

CHARGING THE BATTERY (FIG 14)
nOTE:
Always Check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the ratings plate.
• Plug the power adaptor into a 120 Volt AC power source. The status light on the adaptor will illuminate green.
• Slide the battery all the way into the charger stand until it locks in place with a click, as shown in A-FIG 14. A red
status light indicates the battery is charging. The status light will turn to be green when the battery is fully charged.
• When the status light turns amber, it indicates the battery temperature is either too high or too low to be charged.
Wait the battery temperature back to room temperature before starting the charging.
• If the amber status light persists even when the battery temperature is in normal temperature range, the battery may
be damaged and will never be charged.
• Batteries may become warm while charging. This is normal.
• If battery is hot after continuous use in the tool, allow it to cool down to room temperature before charging. This will
extend the life of your batteries.
