Fitting and commissioning

7.1 CORREX MP 2.3-900 for socket mounting

Note: Observe the instructions set out in chapter 2.3 above
7.1.1 Safety instructions for fitting:
1. Remove any existing magnesium protection anode before installing the
CORREX
2. Never connect the plug-in potentiostat to magnesium protection anodes.
3. The titanium anode must not be in direct contact with internal tank
components or with the tank wall. The quality of the insulation must be
checked with a suitable measuring instrument (e.g digital multimeter or

example of the installation procedure for a CORREX
screw fitting set. The actual situation depends on tank type, tank size, type of
anode and connecting cable used.
