General safety regulations

 HTC 130 may only be used for grinding and polishing natural stone, terrazzo, concrete or
other materials stated in this manual.
 HTC 130 must not be used where there is a risk of explosion or fire.
 Use personal safety equipment in the form of shoes with steel toecaps, hearing protection,
safety goggles and safety gloves*.
 Do not start the machine with the grinding wheel spinning freely in the air. The grinding
wheel must always be in contact with the surface to be processed.
 Do not start the machine without the proper spray guard.
 Use only cold water to fill the tank.
 Switch off the electric power supply before changing the grinding wheel.
 When filling the tank with water, take care to avoid electrical dangers and injury.
 Only lift the machine in the specified way. See page 6.
 For dry-grinding, a dust separator of sufficient capacity must be connected to the machine.
 Only trained personnel are permitted to maintain and service the machine.
 The machine must not be operated on sloping surfaces.
 Some parts under the machine may have sharp edges.
When the machine is in use, only the driver is allowed in its vicinity.
* Concrete dust and stone dust have a severe drying effect. Use safety gloves.
