08. OPERATION
> Open the lens cap.
> Press and hold the Power-button for three seconds to turn on
the camera.
> Then turn the diopter adjustment on the eyepiece until the
menu symbols are clearly visible.
> To bring the observed object into focus, turn the lens focus ring.
The shortcut menu gives you six different adjustment options.
> Briefly pressing the M button cycles through three quick selecti-
on menus.
> The setting of the color mode, the digital magnification and the
color of the reticle are done by pressing the Power- button (top
menu bar).
> The image sharpness, the screen brightness and the shape of
the reticle can be selected by pressing the C key (lower menu
bar).
> Press all three buttons simultaneously to activate the reticle.
Now you have access to the the menu items reticle memory,
reticle adjustment, reticle colour/ type and pixel correction.

> To deactivate the reticle, press all three buttons longer.
> Switch off the device after use by pressing the Power-button for
3 seconds.
The switch-off menu opens. If the check lights up blue, the device
switches off after briefly pressing the M-button. To cancel the pro-
cess, select the (x) and also confirm by pressing the M-button.
> To put the unit in stand-by mode during use (switching off the
display screen), a short press of the Power-button is sufficient.
Short pressing the Power-button again wakes up the camera.
09. UC MODE
Depending on the level of humidity, you can use the UC (Ultra
Clear) mode to optimize the image. If the humidity is high, it is
recommended to activate the UC mode.
> In the submenu, activate the menu item as required by pressing
the M-button.
10. CALIBRATION
Selection between automatic and manual calibration. If the selec-
tion is set to „on", the calibration takes place automatically.
> On "off", you can manually calibrate by briefly pressing the
C-button.
11. VIDEO OUT
After activating the video-out function in the submenu, the image
can be transferred to external monitors in PAL format using the
supplied USB cable.
