8. Master controller and Cleaning Controller Unit
8.1

General

The Foamatic unit is available in two versions, both equipped with a master controller, connected to the internal
valves. The outlets not used for internal valves can be used as external valves. The difference between the two
versions is that one is equipped with a display. The Display ACC-01 (Automatic Cleaning Controller) is an opera-
tion panel built into the front door and connected to the master controller.
Should you wish to connect more external valves, than the standard version allows, an extra master controller
can be connected as a slave.

Communication

The unit is controlled by means of the operation panel ACC, or it can be connected to a local network via
RS485. Furthermore, it is possible to connect a PC either via a connector in the tag block in the controller or via
infra-red communication on the front of the operation panel ACC.

Automatic Cleaning Controller ACC-01

ACC-01 is the operation panel from where the unit is controlled, both during daily operation and during ordinary
programming. Please fi nd below picture of the ACC unit.

Functional description

The four navigation buttons in the right side of the panel moves the cursor in the display. OK button activates
the activity displayed.
The four menu buttons below the display refer directly to the function in the display. According to the image in
the display the function of these buttons will change. The menu buttons are not always active. The functions
referring to the buttons are all illustrated by symbols in the display.
The red and the green button in the lower right part of the panel are used for activation and deactivation of the
power supply between the ACC-01 and the master controller. If the ACC-01 is deactivated with the red stop
button, the unit will still be active. However, the changes made will not directly open or close internal or external
valves. This will not happen until the green button is activated. Changes like program editing will still be regi-
stered in the controller no matter if the buttons are activated or not. However, this requires that all changes are
saved during editing.
Display
The display is divided into two halves. The upper half contains written information like, cleaning program, remai-
ning time, zone, time etc. The lower half is based on symbols for activating the menu buttons.
