3.3. Water heaters without power cord

The appliance has to be connected to a separate current loop of the
stationary electrical installation, provided with a safety fuse with
nominal current of 16A (20A for power > 3700W). Connection is done
using copper single core (rigid) conductors – cable 3 x 2.5 mm² for a
total power of 3000W (cable 3 x 4.0 mm² for power > 3700W).
In the electrical circuit providing power supply for the appliance there
has to an inbuilt device which would disconnect all poles in case of
category III overvoltage.
To install the power supply wire to the water heater, remove the plastic
cover (Fig.2a).
Connect the power supply wire in compliance with the marking on the
terminals, as it follows:
•
the phase – to marking A or A1, L or L1;
•
the neutral – to marking N (B or B1 or N1)
•
The safety wire must be connected to the screw joint marked with ⏚
After installation, put the plastic cover back in its place!

he magnesium anode provides additional protection to the water tank's inner
surface from corrosion. It is an element undergoing wear and tear and is subject
to periodic replacement, which is at the expense of the user. In view of the long-
term and accident-free use of your water heater, the manufacturer recommends
periodic inspections of the magnesium anode's condition by a qualified technician
and replacement whenever required, and this could be performed during the
appliance's technical preventive maintenance.
For replacements, please contact the authorized service centres or a qualified
technician!

1. Switch on the electric water heater
Before initial start of the appliance, please make sure that the water
heater has been correctly connected to the electrical network and that
it is filled up with water. Switching on the water heater is done through
the device incorporated in the installation, which is described in sub-
item 3.3 of section IV, or by inserting the plug into an electrical socket
(for models with cord with a plug).

Switching on is done by pressing button . By doing so the display will
show the mode which is to be used and, depending on the type of mode,
the symbols described for each mode below.
Switching off the electronic operation is done by pressing button .
Button  is illuminated in various colours for the various modes, as it
follows:
•
White – in stand-by mode
•
Red – the appliance is switched on and is in heating mode
•
Blue – the appliance is switched on and it has reached the set temperature
This is valid for all modes described below.
4. Setting up and operation of the appliance

Switching on and off the Wi-Fi module (for models with Wi-Fi).
Switching on and off the Wi-Fi module is done by simultaneously pressing
the buttons < and OK for minimum 10 seconds in stand-by mode,
i.e. when the appliance is switched off from button . When the Wi-Fi
module is on, the display shows the following symbol

Note: If the factory settings are enabled, then you have to reconnect
to the Wi-Fi device).

Setting the time and day of the week
In order for the programme modes to work properly you must set the
current time and day of the week. Setting up is done in stand-by mode,
i.e. when the appliance is not switched on. Keep pressed the i button.
First set the day of the week using the arrows >, < and then confirm by
pressing the OK button. Then, set the hour and the minutes again using
the arrows >, < and the OK button.
•
"Manual operation" mode
By pressing the PROG button you can select Manual operation mode.
The display shows the symbol
ordinary electrical water heater, i.e. you are expected to set the temperature
for the water to be heated and then maintained. Afterwards the appliance
will operate every time the temperature of the water is lower than the set
value in order to reach it. When you enable the Manual operation mode
the display will show both the symbol
in the electric water heater. To set the desired temperature, use one of the
arrows > and <. When you press them the display will show the temperature
as it is being set. The temperature changes by 1°C each time one of the
buttons is pressed, and if a button is pressed continuously, the temperature
will change gradually by 1°C. Few seconds after the last pressing of any of
the two arrows, the display will show the actual temperature of the water.
You can always see the set temperature by pressing the i button.

"Weekly programmer" mode
By pressing the PROG button, except for the Manual operation mode, you
can choose one of the three pre-set weekly programme modes, respectively
P1, P2 or P3. The programmes are factory-set, however you can make
changes to them as you wish.
Choose programme P1, P2 or P3. By pressing the i button you can check
which days of the week and which hours the appliance will operate and will
heat water. If you wish to make changes to the programme that you have
chosen, press and keep pressed the PROG button to enter the settings.
The first step is to select the days (or the day) of the week which you will
make changes to. The blinking day of the week Monday indicates that the
appliance is expecting your choice. Use the arrows > and < to move the
marker and confirm by pressing the OK button for each of the days which
you will change the programme for. You can confirm only one day of the
week or all the seven.
Note: The words ON and OFF on the display will give you further
information whether a particular day of the week has been chosen
to be changed or not (ON – the day has been selected, OFF – the day has
not been selected).
The second step is to programme the hours in which the electric heater
will heat the water, i.e. it will operate. To proceed with the second step,
press the PROG button (do not hold it pressed).
Note: If you hold the PROG button pressed, you will leave the
setting mode of the respective programme. To go back you need to
press and hold the PROG button and to repeat the steps of choosing a
day (days) of the week.
To choose the hours in which the appliance will operate, use the arrows >
and < and OK. Below you can see an example of an hour diagram similar
to the one you can see on the display showing when the appliance will
operate (ON mode) and when it will not operate (OFF mode):
