SAVING, LOADING AND DELETING FILES (3SIXTY.2 ONLY)
IMPORTANT: If you are connected to a 3Sixty unit via Bluetooth when you load a file, any settings
currently on the 3Sixty unit will be overwritten.We suggest you save your settings before
loading a new file.
Anytime you connect to a 3Sixty unit via bluetooth, the current settings of the 3Sixty are loaded to the
Palm device. Any adjustments made on the Palm device are relayed real-time back to the 3Sixty unit.
Saving the current settings will allow you to make adjustments and reload the old settings if you decide
the new settings aren't working out.This also gives you the availability to save a multitude of files for
different 3Sixty applications.
File Name
The current file name will vary depending on which method was used to
get the file. When loaded, the file name will be displayed in the upper area
of the Palm device's screen.
A. If you connected to a 3Sixty unit via Bluetooth, the file name will be
the one currently stored in the 3Sixty unit (factory default name will
be "Untitled"). During setup, if the user does not change the name
from Untitled, you will be prompted to save the file.
B. If the Load File feature was used, the file name will be the one shown in the Load File list.
Saving a File
NOTE:It is NOT necessary to save the file. Any adjustments made on the Palm device are relayed
real-time back to the 3Sixty unit. If you wish to save, simply choose Yes and you will be taken to
the Save As window.
A. If you're doing a New Setup or OEM Integration you will be prompted to save your file. If you wish to
save, simply choose Yes and you will be taken to the Save As window.
B. If you retrieved a file from the 3Sixty unit via Bluetooth connection or loaded an existing file from the
Palm device, you can save and/or rename the file by going to the Tune System screen and clicking on
the Rename File icon. A screen will appear asking you to enter a file name that you want to save it as.
After entering a file name, either click the Save icon to save your file or the Cancel icon to exit out of
this option.
Loading a File

To access a previously saved file, choose Load File from the main screen.

A list of the saved files will pop-up on the display. Highlight the desired
file and select OK to continue.
IMPORTANT: If you are connected to a 3Sixty unit via Bluetooth when
you load a file, any settings currently on the 3Sixty unit will
be overwritten.We suggest you save your settings before
loading a new file.

The settings in the loaded file will replace those currently in the 3Sixty unit.You can make changes to
the settings and either save as a new file or save over the old file using the same file name.
Deleting a File
The Palm device has the ability to store up to 100 files. These files are
backed up onto your PC each time the Palm uses the HotSync feature.

To view all of the files on the Palm, choose the Manage Files icon on the
main screen.

A list will be displayed with all of the files. To delete a file, simply
highlight the desired file and click on the Delete icon.

A confirmation will be displayed, click the Yes icon to delete or the No
icon if you have changed your mind.
NOTE:Once files are deleted they cannot be retrieved, so make sure the file is no longer needed. The
number of files will vary from each type of Palm device. The more memory a Palm device has, the
more files that can be stored on it.
