CLIMATIC CURVE
The appropriate climatic curve must be selected on the basis of the project external temperature, the type
of heating system and the type of building. The gradient of the curve represents the ratio between the
external temperature and the system fl ow temperature.
The diagram relative to the various heating curves is represented in the fi gure below:

The curves must indicatively be set on the basis of the following intervals:
Floor heating -> 0.25 – 1
Fan coils -> 1 – 1.75
Radiators -> 1.75 – 2.5
Hot air ovens -> 2.5 – 3.5
During commissioning of the regulation unit it is necessary to prevent excessive airing of the rooms and
the eff ect of additional heat sources such as stoves, fi replaces, etc.
Correct setting of the climatic curve should guarantee a constant room temperature equal to the comfort
temperature, independently from the variations of the external temperature.
