The status LED indicates data connection status:

Blue, slow blink. Ready.
•
Blue, double blink. Transferring data.
•
Amber, slow blink. The mobile hotspot is not
connected to the network. For more information,
see "Why can't my mobile hotspot connect to
the Internet?" on page 14.
