Never try to repair a damaged ladder by yourself. Only have a damaged
ladder repaired by a suitably qualified specialist.
Do not use the ladder any more if it has been exposed to excessive heat
(e.g. after a house or flat fire) or corrosion (e.g. due to acids or alkaline
solutions).
Be especially careful if you use the ladder in strong wind, rain or on black
ice.
Ensure that all the ladder's rubber feet are always firmly fixed and safely
positioned.
Special care is required when the ladder is used on an uneven surface, for
example on a thick carpet, floor covering or rug. In this way the rubber
feet may not have a secure grip on the surface.
Always be careful when you climb onto or off the ladder.
Do not climb onto the ladder if you have consumed alcohol or used
drugs.
You must be in a position to use the ladder from a health point of view. Do
not stay on the ladder for too long without regular breaks (danger of
fatigue).
Never position the ladder in front of unlocked doors.
Bolt doors (excluding emergency exits) and windows in the working area.
Wear suitable shoes.
Hold on with one hand when working on a ladder, and if this is not possi-
ble, employ additional safety measures.
Do not use any scaffolding chassis beams together with this ladder.
If you are pulling or pushing objects while you are standing on the ladder
or the frame, there is a danger of the ladder tipping over and you falling
off the ladder. Be especially careful if you have to pull or push objects
from the ladder.
Never try to jump, run or move the ladder while standing on the ladder. If
you have to move or reposition the ladder, climb down off the ladder first.
Reposition the ladder and only then climb back onto the ladder.
Never use the ladder to support yourself.
Never stand under a ladder or scaffolding while it is being used and never
pass beneath a ladder or scaffolding that is being used. Ensure that no
other persons stand under ladders or scaffolding while they are being
used and never pass beneath ladders or scaffolding that is being used.
This ladder is not a toy and is not intended for use by children or in prox-
imity to children. Never leave the erected ladder or constructed frame
unattended.
Do NOT unlock the locking mechanism while standing on the ladder.
