HOW TO CONNECT
How to Connect: Goal Zero Yeti Solar Generator or Sherpa Power Packs
To connect a Nomad 100 Solar Panel to a Yeti Solar Generator, simply insert the blue-ringed 8mm cable into
the INPUT port on the front of the Goal Zero Yeti or Sherpa. You can also use the MC4 to AP Adapter Cable
when plugging the Nomad 100 Solar Panel into the Goal Zero Yeti 1250 Solar Generator.
NOTE: The Nomad 100 Solar Panel can connect to third party charge controllers by utilizing the attached
MC4 connectors.

HOW TO CHAIN
How to Chain
We recommend chaining two Nomad 100 Solar Panels in series by inserting one MC4 Connector into the
female MC4 Connector of the second panel and then into the recommended adapter cable (see below).
Utilizing this method, voltages will increase and amperages will remain the same, causing less electrical
friction and heat. When chaining Nomad 100 Solar Panels, you must purchase a MC4 to AP Adapter Cable
to plug into the Goal Zero Yeti 1250.
NOTE: We do NOT recommend plugging chained Nomad 100 Solar Panels into the Goal Zero Yeti 150,
Goal Zero Yeti 400 Solar Generator or Sherpa Power Packs.
If you intend to chain more than two Nomad 100 Solar Panels together you will need to purchase third-party
MC4 Branch Connectors.
OPTIONAL EXTENSION CABLE
Optional Extension Cable
Goal Zero also sells an 8mm Input 30ft Extension Cable and an MC4 Solar 25FT Extension Cable
(recommended for use with the Goal Zero Yeti 1250) to add more length between a Nomad 100 Solar Panel
and what you are plugging into. If you use the recommended MC4 Solar 25FT Extension Cable, you'll also need
to purchase an MC4 to AP Adapter Cable.
