See figure 11. Install the AC Power Analyser, proceed
as follows:
1. Mount the AC Power Analyser to the wall, using the
dimensions drawing for drilling holes.
2. Connect the MasterBus cables and connect your
MasterBus display.
3. Connect the RJ12 communication cables to your
inverter (if applied). Figure 11 shows which pin
provides which signal.

4. Mount the current coil on an isolated and protected
place as close as possible to the main AC
distribution.
5. Feed the phase line (L) of the AC installation through
the current coil.
6. Connect the wires of the current coil to connector 2
(figure 1) Keep the length of these wires as short as
possible!
7. Integrate a fuse that is appropriate for your cabling,
in both AC wires and connect the AC cables to the
AC input (fig.11 point 1). Insert the AC plug with
cover, included in the package.

8. Optional: connect a maximum 5A coil current
bistable relay to the relay connector (fig. 1, point 3)
9. Do the primary setup, using your MasterBus display
or PC.
WARNING
 
Make sure that the wires of the current coil
are always connected when the electrical
system is in operation. Else high voltages
may exist on these wires!
WARNING
 
Danger of touching live AC wiring! Always use
the included AC plug with cover to prevent this!

7.3 MASTERBUS POWERING

At least one in three MasterBus devices must
be MasterBus powering. If AC is available at the
input (figure 11, point 1), the AC Power Analyser is
MasterBus powering.

7.4 COMMISSIONING

Check if all wiring is OK. Then:
(Re)connect the AC Power Analyser AC input.
