Non-contact voltage test
| Check the voltage tester for correct
functioning immediately before each
use (as per VDE specification 0105,
part 1), by connecting it to a known
voltage source (e.g. a 230V power
socket). If the indicator shows that
one or more functions are not work-
ing correctly, do not use the device
any further, but have it examined by
a qualified service technician. You
can contact our works service de-
partment.
| Always hold the device by its han-
dles.
| Avoid touching the probe tips.
| Note that all testing for no voltage
should be carried out at two poles.
| The voltage indications on the Test-
boy are only rated values.
| Trouble-free operation can only be
guaranteed at temperatures of be-
tween -15°C and +45°C.

Keep the device clean and dry at all
times. The casing may be cleaned
by wiping with a damp cloth.
