With the collet chuck inserted, loosen the clamping nut
until the tool shaft can be introduced into the collet chuck.
The drill in the collet chuck is prevented from slipping
when the clamping nut is not tightened too firmly and the
drill is secured in the drive. The setscrews on the sides
must then be tightened adequately with the Allen key.

When the multiple spindle head is installed on a machine,
disconnect the machine from the power supply and se-
cure it against reactivation before any work on the multiple
spindle head.
Check the oil level before startup.
To do so, hold the multiple spindle head in the vertical
position so that it rests on the spindles, and check that the
oil level is at the centre of the inspection glass.
