5.1 Emptying the dust collecting drawer
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
The following instructions must be adhered to throughout all maintenance, servicing, assembly,
disassembly and repair work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Disconnect the mains plug.
• Before performing any maintenance and cleaning work, suitable safety measures must be taken.
• Maintenance and cleaning work on the fume extraction system may only be carried out in areas with

Proceed as follows:

1 Switch off the fume extraction system by turning the rocker switch (11) (0 position).
2 After having switched off the fume extraction system, wait (for approx. 1 minute) until the dust has settled
down in the fume extraction system.
3 Remove the knurled nuts (9) from the dust collecting drawer (8).
4 Carefully pull out the dust collecting drawer (8).
5 Slide the full dust collecting drawer (8) into the dust collecting bag supplied and close the bag.
6 Turn the dust collecting drawer (8) over so that the dust can fall into the dust collecting bag.
7 Carefully open the dust collecting bag and take out the dust collecting drawer (8).
8 Close the dust collecting bag tightly.
9 Clean the dust collecting drawer (8) using a damp disposable cloth.
10Clean the area into which the dust collecting drawer (8) will fit using a damp disposable cloth.
11 Slide the empty dust collecting drawer (8) into the fume extraction system.
12 Lock the dust collecting drawer (8) by screwing the knurled nuts (9) onto the fume extraction system.
