Exchange of the fuse
1. Disconnect the main power cable before opening the cover,
otherwise you might risk an electric shock.
2. To exchange the fuse, please remove the cover first. Replace
the cover properly after exchanging the fuse.
Exchange of wear and tear parts
3. Exchange of other wear and tear parts only by Olympia and
authorized dealers.
Cleaning the NC 580
The NC 580 has to be regularly cleaned of dust and other contamination, which are partly getting into the unit
during operation; they contaminate the sensors and prevent optimal counting and checking of banknotes. Use a
soft brush or cloth for cleaning the sensors and remove the dust. Use a compressed air spray for banknote
counters to remove dust from difficult accessible places. This ensures years of correct functioning of the NC
580.

Ensure that the machine cover is closed
properly and no light can enter.
Remove the banknotes and clean the

Clean the wheels near the counting sensors.
If the error persists clean the transport
wheels.
Reset the machine to the factory settings.
