Fume hood / extraction cabinet at the site of use
CAUTION! Evaporation of cleaning agent during use without fume hood / extraction
cabinet.
Respiratory disorders, skin irritations and allergic reactions.
Danger of fire or explosion.
Place and operate the device filled with isopropanol exclusively under an explosion-proof
fume hood / explosion-proof extraction cabinet.
Ensure that the explosion-proof fume hood / explosion-proof extraction cabinet is
equipped for a minimum protection level of Zone 2 according to ATEX 137 (Definition
Zone 2: A hazardous area classified as an atmosphere where a mixture of air and
flammable substances in the form of gas, vapour or mist is not likely to occur in normal
operation, but if it does occur, will persist for a short period only).
Use the fume hood / extraction cabinet in continuous operation (24 hours a day, 7 days a
week) if the cleaning containers are filled with isopropanol.
Always comply with any additional country-specific standards / stipulations / regulations
etc. on the usage / storage / disposal of isopropanol.
The fume hood / extraction cabinet must meet the following requirements

Explosion-proof equipment
•
Suitable for continuous operation (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
•
ATEX approved for each country
•
No integrated plug socket, as the magnetic mixing rod features a potted cable that must
be led through the fume hood towards the outside.

Measurements (L x W x H): 450 mm x 380 mm x 700 mm
•
Air flow: The country-specific standards / regulations / specifications must be complied
with.
