DR 6000 installation
1.
Position the SIP 10 on the storage tray to the left of the photometer.
2.
Open the cell compartment cover up to the stop.
3.
Push the rubber tube guide into the groove in the top left of the cell
compartment.
4.
Push the two Pharmed tubes with the free ends onto both
connections of the Pour-Thru Cell.
5.
Clean the Pour-Thru Cell with a lint-free cloth.
6.
Place the Pour-Thru Cell into the cell compartment of the
photometer according to the required path length.
7.
Push the Pharmed tube with the connection to the IN-connection of
the Pour-Thru Cell into the bottom guide in the tube guide.
8.
Push the Pharmed tube with the connection to the OUT-connection
of the Pour-Thru Cell into the top guide in the tube guide.
Note: Make sure that the tubes are sitting securely in the guide so
that they do not become squashed.
The fitting ends of two Pharmed tubes are now protruding from the
side of the photometer.
9.
Install the cell compartment cover, starting at the bottom right
corner. Close the cover.
10. Connect the fitting end of the bottom Pharmed tube to the fitting
side of a Tygon tube.
This is the feed tube.
11. Connect the other end of the feed tube to the stainless steel tube
adapter and place this in the zero-solution/sample vessel.
12. Connect the fitting end of the top Pharmed tube to the fitting side of
the second Tygon tube.
This is the connection tube.
13. Connect the other end of this connection tube to the input
connection of the peristaltic pump.
14. Connect one end of the Tygon tube (without fitting) to the output
connection of the peristaltic pump.
This is the discharge tube.
15. Place the other end of the discharge tube in a suitable waste
vessel.
16. Connect the SIP 10 USB cable to a USB port on the photometer.
Note: Shorten the feed tube and connection tube as much as possible in
order to optimize the pump volume of the system.
