• make sure that the pipe is not flattened or narrowed: the water inside must flow without
obstacles (fig. 4, A);
• to avoid returns or contamination in the water softener, do not connect the drainage pipe
directly to siphons or other drainage pipes.
CONNECTION TO THE BRINE
The installer must make sure that the connection fittings between the valve and the brine are well
sealed to prevent infiltrations of air (fig. 6, A).
CONNECTION TO THE OVERFLOW DRAIN
The installation of the overflow fitting (included in the box) in the brine allows for the evacuation of
possible excess water in the brine, caused by irregular refills or by faulty operation.
Perforate the brine container, screw on the overflow fitting, insert the flexible tube in the flexible
fitting and connect the tube to a drain located at a lower height than the overflow fitting, as the
outflowing water will not have any pressure (fig. 3, E and fig. 4, B).
To prevent the water from returning to the brine, do not connect the overflow drainage pipe to the
water softener drainage pipe.

TIMER PROGRAMMING

The water softener can be quickly and easily programmed. It has four buttons that allow you to
select the time, date and the amount of salt for the regeneration (fig. 9).
During the work phase, the screen displays the time, the current date and if programmed, the
days on which the regeneration will take place.
During regeneration the time remaining to complete it and the current phase are indicated (fig.
18).
TURNING IT ON
Insert the plug in the mains socket and insert the connector in the timer (fig. 6, G). The time will
be displayed on the screen (fig. 9, E).
If instead the message "ERR3" is displayed, wait until the valve moves to the correct phase. The
error message will disappear and the time will appear on the screen.
SELECTING THE TIME AND DATE

1) Press so that the screen starts to blink.
2) With the buttons, change the clock values until you see the current time (fig. 10)
3) Press to confirm.
There will now be a triangle at the top of the screen, indicating the date (fig. 11).
