7 Commissioning
Warning
The sudden escape of compressed air can cause injury to human beings.
S Make sure that the connections P1 and P2 are connected.
Note
High pressure forces can damage equipment switched downstream.
S Use only equipment which is designed for the maximum achievable output
pressure of 16 bar.
Vibrations can cause material fatigue and reduce the endurance limits of pres
sure booster combinations DPA− −CRVZS and mounting attachments.
S Protect the device against mechanical vibrations.
Switching on
When using a pressure booster combination without additional 3−way start−up
valves (è Fig. 3):
Pressurize input P1 with compressed air.

When using a pressure booster combination with additional 3−way start−up valves
(è Fig. 4, Fig. 5):
1. Open the 3−way start−up valve between the pressure booster DPA and the
air reservoir CRVZS (è Fig. 5).
In this way you can fill the air reservoir CRVZS. The 3−way start−up valve
remains open during the complete operation.
2. Open the 3−way start−up valve on the input side P1.
3. Open the 3−way start−up valve on the output side P2.
Coupling and decoupling the compressed air output
Before coupling or uncoupling connecting tubing at output P2:
Reduce the output pressure to max. 10 bar.

You then reduce the necessary force required.
