The build quality of the electric insulation is altered if spills or liquid gets into the tool while in use.
Do not expose to rain, liquids and/or dampness.
Before gaining access to the terminals all power sources should be disconnected.

Power Requirements

Before using the power cable or any additional flexible cable verify they are not damaged or mishandled. If the cable gets
damaged while being used, disconnect immediately the cable from the power outlet. DO NOT touch the power cable
before disconnecting from the power source. Do not use the tool if the power cable is damaged or mishandled.
WARNING
Double insulation and reinforced insulation tools are built with
a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other). This plug fits any polarized
power outlet and can only be connected one way. If the plug does not fit in the
power inlet turn it around. If it still is not fitting contact a qualified electrician or
install a polarized power outlet. By no means modify the plug in any manner.
Both types of insulation eliminate the need of a power cable with three parts with
a ground connection or a grounded power system.
WARNING
When using an extension cable make sure the gauge is enough for the power your product needs.
A lower gauge cable will cause power drop in the line resulting of power loss and motor overheating.
The following table shows the right size to be used depending on cable's length and the ampere capability shown in
the nameplate. If you have any doubts use the next higher gauge. The lower the gauge, the heavier the cable will be.
If having any doubt pleas use the next higher caliber.
