Adjustable* Hot Start
The Hot Start is adjustable between 0 and 60% within the limit of 160A for the TIG 160 A DC. The TIG 200 A DC
has a limit of 200 A on 230V, and 120 A on 110V. The TIG 250 A DC has a limit of 250 A.
1- Press and hold the "Hot Start" button.
2- Select the wanted Hot Start.
n.b.: the display "HI" indicates that the Hot Start is at the maximum setting.
Adjustable Arc Force (
The Arc Force is adjustable between 0 and 100% (within the limit of 200A on 230V, 120A on 110V for the GYSMI
TIG 200FV) .
1- Press and hold the "Arc Force" button
2- Select the required setting

TIG WELDING

Select Start Function
Select LIFT or HF function.
Contact start
TIG LIFT:
HF TIG : high frequency start without contact

TIG 200 A DC / TIG 250 A DC only)
(for the environments sensitive to HF disturbances)
1- Touch the work-piece with the electrode
2- Press the trigger on the torch
3- Lift the electrode.
 
 
3- Press and hold the trigger : pre-gas, up slope, welding
4- Release trigger : down slope, post-gas
1- Press trigger: pre-gas, followed by start. In order to make positionning
the electrode easier, a low 10 Amp current is supplied, acting like a
light beam. (=Adjust to Ideal Position)
2- Release trigger : up slope until the displayed instruction, welding
3- Press trigger: down slope until 10A (for a good closure of the crater)
4- Release trigger: stops the current, post-gas

