3. Plug three prong quick connect from transformer into
platform receptacle located on the left adjacent to
transformer door.
N otee: Secure module supply wiring harness behind
retaining clip located on the bottom left of
the transformer door. Fold the unused lamp
supply wiring harness in half and secure it behind
the retaining clip located at top and center of the
transformer door. Secure the remaining lamp wiring
harness behind the retaining clip located on the right
side housing wall. Refer to Step 5 Important note to
determine the appropriate lamp wiring harness for
your application.
4. Install module adjustment mechanism by aligning
feet of bracket with openings in collar (Figure 2. and
Figure 3.) then rotating bracket into place until locking
springs engage collar (Figure 4.). Pass disk through
aperture and install (Figure 7 ., 8 and Figure 9.). Repeat
for adjustment mechanism (Figure10., Figure11. and
Figure12.). Tighten clamping screw.
N otee: For 'Through Aperture' installation the
stationary disk must be separated from the
adjustment mechanism, passed through the aperture
and installed as described above. To separate
stationary disk loosen the clamping screw and
rotating clamp to free disk.(Figure 6.)
5. Install lamp into lamp capsule - Remove the lamp
module assembly (Figure 13.) from the packaging.
Unscrew lens holder from lamp holder by rotating
counter clockwise to access socket connections. Install
lamp (Figure 14.) and reassemble lens holder to lamp
holder tightening finger tight. Connect male quick
connect for the lamp module to the appropriate female
quick connect in the housing. (Figure 15.)
IMPORTANT: The platform provides two power
connections marked Dimmed Fixture and Switched Fixture.
The Dimmed Fixture connection is for wall box dimmer
applications having a voltage drop of 6VAC or greater across
the dimmer. FOR ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS USE THE
SWITCHED FIXTURE CONNECTION. Improper use of the
Dimmed Fixture connection will result in reduced lamp
life. If unclear of the specific application use the Switched
Fixture Connection. The Switched Fixture connection does
not negate the ability for dimming and can be used with in
any dimming application.
