    Getting Started The Bluetooth MultiPort Module by Compaq provides short-range wireless communications and allows you to replace physical cable connections that are traditionally used to link electronic devices. The Bluetooth MultiPort Module will enable point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless connections between compatible Bluetooth electronic devices enabling ad hoc networks, or Piconets, to be created.

    Installing Hardware Before installing the Bluetooth MultiPort Module on a new computer, set up the computer software as instructed in the “Setting Up the Software” section in the Getting Started guide included with the computer. If you have previously installed a Bluetooth device, such as a PC Card or USB Adapter, you must uninstall the Bluetooth drivers and software according to the instructions provided by the device manufacturer.

    Einführung Das Bluetooth MultiPort Modul von Compaq bietet drahtlose Kommunikation auf kurzer Distanz und ermöglicht die Verbindung elektronischer Geräte ohne die hierfür traditionell üblichen Kabelverbindungen.
