Special Safety Requirements
This rotary sander is intended for use on
wood, metal, and similar materials.
Always use the right sandpaper for the task
and the material.
Not suitable for wet sanding.
Never allow the sandpaper to be in contact
with the workpiece - or other objects - when
starting the rotary sander.
Ensure any work item is secured before
sanding.
Never use for sanding materials containing
asbestos or plaster!
Never use for sanding surfaces painted with
lead-based paint!
Sanding certain substances can produce
harmful dust. Always wear a mask.
Sparks can be generated when sanding
metal surfaces. Avoid using in � ammable

surroundings and in the vicinity of � ammable
materials and � uids.
Keep the cord well clear of the working area.
Avoid blocking the ventilation slots with your
hands.
Never put the rotary sander down until it has
completely stopped.
Always unplug the rotary sander before
changing sandpaper and when you have
� nished using it.
