Use
Check that the dust bag (6) is correctly tted
on the nozzle (5) and that the correct type of
sandpaper is being used.
Hold the rotary sander with one hand on the
handle and the other on the support handle
(1). Switch on by pressing the on/off button
(3).
Apply the sanding pad to the item. The
sanding pad works in small circular
movements.
NB! Be careful when applying sanding pad
to item!
If the sanding pad is applied unevenly it can
cut the item surface. Ensure entire sanding
pad comes in contact with the item at the
same time.
Give the rotary sander time to work. It
is rarely necessary to press the pad hard
against the surface to be worked.
Start with coarse sandpaper and switch to
ner paper if/when required. If a very smooth
surface is required, clean the item thoroughly
with a soft cloth after the nal sanding.
Switch to very ne sandpaper and give the
item one extra sanding.
Avoid blocking the ventilation slots (2) with
your hand, as this may cause the sander to
overheat.
Turn off the sander using the on/off switch.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Wipe the sander using a well-wrung cloth
after use, and always keep the surface and
vent holes free of dirt.
Always ensure the extraction holes on the
sanding pad are kept clean. Empty the dust
bag when required and never let it become
over-full.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents, as they may attack the plastic parts of
the machine.
If the motor generates an excessive amount
of sparks, check and if necessary replace the
carbon brushes.
