4.1 Installation options with boiler products
Type 1
Replacement of the gateway in a basic heating system
with RC and RD activated
Chaff oteaux basic heating system equipped with BUS protocol, in which the user
wishes to replace the gateway to enable the Chaff olink Remote Control and Remote
Assistance services.
Required operations:
- Install the gateway by connecting it to the heating system via the BUS connection

Type 2
Activation of RD alone in a basic heating system
Chaff oteaux basic heating system equipped with BUS protocol, in which the user
wishes to activate Remote Assistance alone, without installing the Chaff oteaux Expert
Control accessory.
Actions required (fi g.3):
In this confi guration, any ON/OFF temperature regulation accessory already present
in the house can be left installed. Therefore it is only necessary to:
- Install the gateway, connecting it to the heating product via the BridgeNet BUS
connection.
