• The measurements obtained using this unit must be conside-
red as a guide and may not, under any circumstance, be con-
sidered as a substitute for diagnosis by a medical practitioner.
Consult your doctor for explanations on the body temperature
measured and evaluate any therapies on his indication.
• Keep out of the reach of children. Children of 12 years or un-
der must use this unit under adult supervision.
• This product should not be used on persons with otitis exter-
na, tympanitis and other ear conditions.
• Do not touch or blow on the infrared sensor to avoid distor-
ting the measurement. If the infrared sensor is damaged or
soiled, the measurements may be unreliable.
• In the event of a fault and/or malfunction, switch the applian-
ce off without tampering with it. Always contact your dealer
when repair work is required.
• Do NOT try to dismantle, repair or replace parts of this device
yourself. Always contact your dealer.
• Treat the appliance with care, protect it from blows, extre-
me temperature changes, humidity, dust, direct sunlight and
sources of heat.
• Do NOT allow liquids to penetrate inside the body of the ther-
mometer. Never immerse the thermometer in water. Never
rinse under running water. This appliance is not waterproof.
