Overtemperature protection
The Palamat elite unit is equipped with two overtemperature protections which are activated if the temperature
is exceeded by 110°C (230°F).
In the event of activation of the fuses, the heating circuit is interrupted.
Please check your minimum filling level.
Note!
The overtemperature protections may only be reset by trained service personnel.
Contact your responsible service agent (see chapter 11 Service).

Polymerization
To switch on the unit, press the power switch (5) at the front of the unit. The power switch is lit and indicates that the unit

has been started up. The software version is shown in the Timer Display (15) for a short period.
7.3.1
Selecting the temperature stage
The yellow LED indicates the currently selected temperature program.
The select-key is used for selecting prior to the polymerization process.
The select-key is deactivated during the process.
Additionally, the blinking pattern of the LED indicates the current temperature status.

7.3.2
Timer Display
The process time is set with the Timer plus / minus key (16).
Max. time is 9:59 h:m.
Once the process temperature is reached, the colon flashes, and the timer starts
to countdown the time in minutes. The timer can not be set during the countdown.
The remaining time is calculated and displayed by the internal processor based defined
time / temperature control for the Kulzer water bath.
The remaining time may vary depending on the filling level of water and quantity of flask
baskets in the polymerization pot.
If an error is detected, it is also displayed in the timer display. Error messages are indicated
by "E" (e.g. E 01). A table containing possible error messages can be found in chapter 10 (Information on malfunctions).
