1.5 TYPICAL USE
In the previous sections we have described the steps required to configure your RBT
receiver and your mobile device (phone and / or tablet) so they can communicate via
Bluetooth. As mentioned above, this configuration is necessary the first time you use the
Bluetooth.
From then to usually use the receiver you will only need to:
a) Turn on the RBT receiver and verify the B and TM icons appear on the main
screen of the RBT receiver (Bluetooth enabled and TinyMob selected).
b) Run the program via the icon TINYMOB that appears on the screen of your
mobile device.
You should also verify that the B icon displayed on the RBT receiver becomes "B" which
means that communication between receiver and the mobile device is successful. Dogs
should be appearing on the selected map as you go locating one by one, through the
RBT receiver.
2. ADDITIONAL RBT MENUS
Below are detailed the additional options in the menu of your RBT receiver.
2.1 MENU / MAPS
a) BLUETOOTH / TINYMOB: Allows using the TinyMob software in a tablet or
Android Smartphone via Bluetooth (requires license TinyMob).
You will also see two additional options that are not useful in this case.
a) CABLE USB / TINYTAB: Allows using the TINYTAB software in an Android tablet
through an USB cable (requires license TinyTab).

is advisable to have the Bluetooth disconnected if the receiver is not connected
to a device using Android.
b) CAMBIAR ID- The receiver ID is the identifier of the Bluetooth, that is, the name
that appears the receiver in the Smartphone or tablet that syncs. All receivers are
shipped with the same ID.
To identify each recipient we recommend changing the ID by default and
customized to suit the user. To do this go to MENU / OPTIONS RBT /
BLUETOOTH / CHANGE ID / OK and select the letters to form the name you
want to identify your receiver. Accept each of the letters by pressing "OK". To
finish select "END" and press "OK"

c) TIMEOUT: Sets the time the Bluetooth stays on without any device synchronized.
If we make normal use of the recipient and not link any phone, Bluetooth is
switched off after the time set in this option. If the timeout is 0, the Bluetooth
never turns off.
By default, the timeout is 30 minutes, after which time the Bluetooth should again
be enabled to synchronize the receiver RBT with Android devices. To activate it
again follow the steps in section 2.2. of this manual.
d) INFO BT: Facilitates RBT information such as the ID, the version of the RBT, etc.
2.3 MENU / RBT OPTIONS / BATTERY TIPE
a) ALKALINE BATTERIES: It is the default option. Should be selected if you use
standard alkaline batteries.
b) BATTERIES: You must select this option if you use rechargeable batteries. The
only rechargeable batteries that provide optimum performance are provided by
Tinyloc.
Tinyloc does not guarantee the correct functioning of RBT with other brands of
rechargeable batteries.
2.4 MENU / OPCIONES RBT / MODO ON
Users with the Car Kit (external antenna and power supply vehicle) often require switch
the receiver to external power. The default receiver restarts every time we change the
internal to external power and vice versa. To avoid unnecessary inconvenience we have
two ways to restart the computer.
a) WITH BUTTON: When connecting external power to the receiver, this restarts. If
you select this option, you must turn on your receiver.
b) WITHOUT BUTTON: When connecting external power to the receiver, this
restarts. If selected, the receiver automatically turns on again.
