2. Press and hold the Pair button of the adaptor for 2 seconds until the LED indicator
flashes rapidly. The adaptor will try to synchronize with the Bluetooth® headset
automatically. In some cases the synchronization process may take up to 2 mi-
nutes;
3. When the two devices are successfully connected, the LED indicator of the adap-
tor will flash twice each second. If the synchronization fails, repeat the previous
steps.
If the PIN number of the Bluetooth® headset is different from the standard PIN num-
bers, follow the procedure for inserting a new PIN (as, for example, 5678):
1. Press the Pair and Enter buttons at the same time. The display will show 0;
2. Press Pair 5 times until the display shows 5 (5 for the 5678);
3. Press Enter and then the display will show 0 again;
4. Press Pair 6 times until the display shows 6 (6 for the 5678);
5. Press Enter and then the display will show 0 again;
6. Press Pair 7 times until the display shows 7 (7 for the 5678);
7. Press Enter and then the display will show 0 again;
8. Press Pair 8 times until the display shows 8 (8 for the 5678);
9. Press Enter and the adaptor will be ready to synchronize. Connect the Bluetooth®
headset that has the PIN number 5678.
When the two devices are synchronized, the LED indicator of the adaptor will flash
twice each second.
Note: when the adaptor is connected to electrical energy, it will automatically try to
connect with the last headset synchronized with it.
Synchronization of the adaptor to more Bluetooth® headsets
The adaptor can store synchronization information of up to 8 different headsets, but
the adaptor may only be used by a single headset each time. The use of the adaptor
will always be by the last headset synchronized when it is turned on.
When a headset is synchronized, the synchronization information remains stored
in the memory of the Bluetooth® adaptor. This information is important for future
processes of synchronization; that is, once initial synchronization is performed, the
Bluetooth® adaptor will recognize the headset whenever it is turned on and will
undertake synchronization automatically.
To synchronize the adaptor to more than one headset, follow the synchronization
process for each one. When the list of synchronized devices has more than 8 headsets
and a new attempt is made, the oldest headset will be excluded from the list.
