2. Place the pump onto the mounting plate
and fasten.
– Use the screws, nuts and washers
provided.
3. Screw the adapter into the pump and
seal.
4. Screw the pressure switch onto the
adapter.
Establishing the connections
How to proceed:
• Select the reinforced hose required for
connection according to the table:

1. Connect the pressure switch to the
downstream line.
2. Connect the pump to the suction line.
– Ensure that a non-return valve is in-
stalled in the suction line.
3. Connect the reinforced hose at the top
to the pressure switch.
– Ensure that the flat sealing is inserted
and correctly seated.
4. Connect the reinforced hose to the tank
at the reinforced hose connection.
– Ensure that the flat sealing is inserted
and correctly seated.
COMMISSIONING/START-UP
How to proceed:

1. Connect the power plug of the pump to
the socket of the pressure switch.
2. Connect the power plug of the pressure
switch to the mains socket.
3. Switch on the pump.
– The pump will run until the tank is
filled. Then the pressure switch will
switch off the pump.
4. Read the operating pressure at the
pressure gauge of the pressure switch
ProMax
and ensure that the maximum operating

pressure in the system cannot be ex-

– Correct the operating pressure if nec-

essary. (→ Checking the operating
pressure)
OPERATION
• Regularly check the pre-charge pres-
sure at the vessel valve with an air
gauge. The valve is at the rear of the
pressure vessel. The system must be
depressurised. (→ Correct the pre-
charge pressure)
Shutting down the pump
The pressure vessel may not be disman-
tled until it has been completely emptied
and depressurised.
