The Stream Configuration Window presents the standard view that is suitable for your first connection.
For configuring the "Advanced Options" refer to the user manual.
4.1. Apply a name to the Stream
4.2. Type can be Audio, AUX, GPIO and IP/Media Forward – select "Audio"
4.3. Enable "Transmit" on the Encoder.
4.4. Keep the default ETH interface "ETH0:ETH0" (:ETH0 defines a virtual interface – refer to the
user manual for more information)
4.5. Select what casting mode you wish, Unicast or Multicast. For a normal point to point
connection, this will be Unicast
4.6. Enter the destination IP address (Encoder only). This is the IP address of the receiving unit.
4.7. Enter the IP port – ensure the other side of the link has the same IP port configured.
Clicking on "OK" presents the stream in the streams table as shown below.
5. Click on "Create" on the bottom of the toolbar to create the configuration.
6. To apply this configuration click on "Apply". This will immediately reconfigure the codec to these
settings.
6. Making a first Configuration (Encoder setup)
The configuration procedure for the Decoder is similar to the setup of the Encoder. On the Stream
Configuration window you do not have to enter a source IP address.
