INSTALLING THE UNIT
1. Carefully unpack your Iris 2 Advanced
vacuum mixer, and check for these fittings in
the packaging:
Power cable.
Spare filter.
550 cc. mixing bowl (D).
Kit to secure the mixer to the wall.
Plastic
spatula
(R-060002).
2. Choose a wall well away from any sources of
heat, vibrations or moisture to set up the
mixer unit. It must also be positioned on a
firm, rigid, level surface.
3. Make two marks with a marker pen exactly 80
mm. apart at the chosen location. Ensure that
the imaginary line linking the two marks is
perfectly horizontal. A level may be used if
required.
4. Drill out the holes marked by hand using a Ø
6 mm widia bur.
5. Insert the nylon studs included in the vacuum
mixer kit in the drill holes. Then screw in the
cheese-head shed bolts, allowing the heads
to protrude around 12 mm.
6. Use the bolts to secure the IRIS vacuum
mixer firmly to the wall.
7. Use the pen to mark the position of the fixing
eye on the lower section of the unit. Remove
the mixer and drill out the hole manually.
Insert a nylon stud in the orifice and put the
unit back on.
8. Use a wrench to put the bolt through the
lower hole. Ensure the unit has been firmly
secured.
9. Hook up the mixer's power cable to 230 V,
50/60 Hz with earthing.
FUNCTIONS
• The
Iris
2
Advanced
(R-080518) has several possible functions
that you can select or not.
• In order to go to the function selection mode,
press the key
• You will see that the icon of the first function
lights.
• Shortly pressing the key
on the different funcions.
• With the keys
the value "YES" for activate or "NO" for
desactivate it.
• If you select "YES", shortly press the key
to go to the lower display and with the keys
you will be able to modify the
parameters for each function. A dot at the
rightside shows the active display.

PRE-VACUUM
The vacuum pump works but blades will
not turn.
At the lower display you can cose the time
in seconds for the pre-vacuum.
PRE-MIXING
A first show mixing is obtained. You can
cose 3 diferent types of pre-mixing:
MIXING
Blades will mix at speed selected by the
user.
Once out of the function selection mode,
you can select mixing time and speed.
If you select "YES", you will activate spin
inversion.
SPIN INVERSION
While the mixing, the motor alternatively
turns clockwise and anticlockwise for 10
seconds (not editable value).
TURBO
Last seconds of the mixing will be at 400
rpm.
At the lower display you can select the
turbo time (5 - 30 seconds).
POST-VACUUM
The pump continues working for some
seconds after the mixing.
At the lower display you can select the
post-vacuum time in seconds.
ALARM
If the post-vacuum function is activated,
mixer
when finish, the alarm will automatically
sound. Press any key to stop.
OPERATING THE MIXER
The mixer is now ready for use:
1. Use the main switch (E) to turn on the
machine.
2. The upper display will show the spin speed
in rpm and the lower display will show the
working time in seconds.
3. You can modify both of them by pressing the
when the unit is working.
