DOL 21R has built-in change-over relay.
Mode of operation: When the switch is activated by the
material (grain, feed, etc.) the built-in relay changes over.
When the activation stops, the relay changes back. See
Figure 1.
Mechanical installation: At least 10 mm of the switch end
should be left free. Installation is made effectively through
a PG 36 gland. See Figure 2.
Electrical installation: See Figure 2. Supply voltage:
230V ac. Phase to the brown and neutral to the blue wire.
Connect load (relay, contacts, lamp, etc.) in series with the
relay contact of the switch (see Figure 1). Fuse max. 6.3A.
Stop: By activation of switch use 1 and 3.
Start: By activation of switch use 1 and 4.
Figure 2 shows a conveying system; in which feeding
should be stopped if the material accumulates. In this case
DOL 21R is activated and cuts off auger motor through
wire 1 and 3. When the switch is free, the motor restarts.
Min./max. control: When a precise control of the level
between a min./max. height is required, 2 DOL 21R and an
auxiliary contact on the motor relay are applied.

For emptying control use the relay contact between wire 1
and 4.
For filling control use the relay contact between wire 1 and
3. (If necessary use a DOL 33R with time delay).
Adjustment: The sensitivity may be adjusted by a thin
screwdriver through the hole beside the pilot lamp (remove
the sealing). If turned to the right, sensitivity is increased.
Pilot lamp: The red light-emitting diode is on when the
switch is not activated. The relay contact is completely
separated from the supply voltage.
Checking the switch: When the switch is without supply
voltage, 1 and 4 are closed and 1 and 3 open.
