Passage of intermediate connecting points
For easy passage of intermediate anchorage points (or turns), move along the lifeline normally; the carriage will
automatically pass the anchorage point. Avoid tensioning or pulling hard on the lanyard; otherwise the carriage will lock
and make it more difficult to pass the intermediate anchorage points.
Checking the lifeline:
Before each use, carry out thorough visual examination to make sure that the anchorage device
and the various component parts of the lifeline are serviceable. Check that the cable is free of
any incipient breaks and that no intermediate structural anchorage is deformed.
Make sure that the lifeline is tensioned correctly and that the fall indicator is still on the absorber.
If it is not, contact the manufacturer or an approved center in order to bring the line into
conformity.
