DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
● Disconnect the machine from the compressed
air supply . Remove all accessories.
● Disassemble the tool, clean the parts with
petroleum and check them carefully.
● Lubricate and reassemble the unit.
This tool is fitted with blades which can
operate without lubricated air. However,
a small amount of oil allows the tool to
provide full power and lengthens its life.
The use of dry air with no trace of oil may
reduce the life of blades.
SP3- SP3P MACHINES
Turbine assembly:
It is imperative to instal the suction cap (52)
support before the end plate (41) (see figure 2).
AUTOMATIC SUCTION ON SC. / SC.P14 /
SMRD60HV
If sanding speed is too low, the suction power
can be adjusted to obtain an excellent Speed /
Suction / Power ratio. With a 2.5 mm hex key,
adjust the air supply at the venturi by tightening
or loosening the screw (614.65). Never apply
pressure on the two adjustable stops.
SINGLE MOVEMENT ON SC2P
The SC2P machines are equipped with a tiltering
lead which allows to lock the rotating pad. At a
slant of 5° to 10° and translated, these machines
perform a cutting operation with high quality
finish.
MAINTENANCE
SC.(P) : Should the suction system get clogged,
remove the pad and blow in the dust exhaust
pipe.
