Safety Directions
The following directions should enable
the person responsible for the prod-
uct, and the person who actually uses
the tool, to anticipate and avoid op-
erational hazards.
The person responsible for the tool
must ensure that all users understand
these directions and adhere to them.
Intended Use of the Tool
Permitted uses
The product is intended to the follow-
ing applications:

Detection and localisation of un-
derground services (cables, metal-
lic pipes, and connected equip-
ment).

Use of the product without instruc-
tion

Use outside of the intended limits
•
Disabling safety systems and
removal of hazard notices
•
Opening the tool using tools
(screwdriver, etc.), unless this is
specifically permitted for certain
functions (e.g. Battery replace-
ment)
•
Modification or conversion of the
tool
•
Use after misappropriation
•
Use with accessories from other
manufacturers without the prior
express approval of Laser Align-
ment
•
Inadequate safeguards at the
surveying site (e.g. when operating
on roads, etc.)
WARNING:
Adverse use can lead to injury,
malfunction, and material
damage. It is the task of the
person responsible for the tool
to inform the user about haz-
ards and how to counteract
them. The tool is not to be
used until the user has been
instructed how to work with it.
